Terms of Service
Effective date: October 9, 2026
These terms cover use of TLC Rental NYC at tlcrentalnyc.com. If you create an account or use the site, you agree to them.
Marketplace only
TLC Rental NYC is an online marketplace. We do not own, rent, insure, or operate vehicles. We are not a party to any rental. Owners and drivers deal directly, off this site. Payment, deposit, and pickup stay between the owner and the driver. We do not charge a platform booking fee or a commission on the rent.
A signed-in driver can save a date request on a listing (a start date, an end date, and a total based on the posted day rate). That request is not a rental contract and it does not take payment.
Owners
You are responsible for your listing being accurate. You are responsible for the vehicle's TLC registration, insurance, and legal compliance.
Drivers
You are responsible for holding a valid TLC license and for the agreement you make with an owner.
We don't verify
We do not verify TLC licenses, insurance, or vehicles. A listing on this site is not a statement that we checked those things.
Owner plans
Owner plans are monthly:
- Starter, $99 per month, for one visible listing
- Growth, $246 per month, for up to five visible listings
- Fleet, $399 per month, for up to ten visible listings
You save a listing first. The listing stays hidden until a plan is active. You then request a plan while signed in. The request stays pending until an admin approves it. This website does not charge a card. Payment is arranged with us off the site after a request is approved.
There is no automatic refund, and there is no self-serve way to cancel a plan on the site. To ask about canceling a plan or a refund, email tech@getrockettech.com.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Post a fake listing
- Send spam
- Scrape the site
- Use the site for anything illegal
We may remove a listing or an account that breaks these terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be up or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, TLC Rental NYC is not liable for lost profits, indirect damages, or for a vehicle, payment, or agreement between an owner and a driver. Some laws do not allow certain limits. Where that is the case, those limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the update.
